Hello!  Originally from NYC, my husband, Jorge, and I relocated to southwest Florida with our boys in 2007.  After thoroughly enjoying the coastal waters of the Gulf, we moved to Ocala in 2015 where we fell in love with the sense of community, charm, and spirit of Marion County.

I am a cradle Catholic whose faith was deeply shaped by my grandma.  As a young adult, I was a Catholic gone rogue but remained a follower of Christ.  Being a mom brought our family back to the Church, back Home.  Jorge and I became active in youth ministry while the boys were young.; I served as a catechist and he joined the Knights of Columbus.  Today, with our sons, we continue to serve and remain involved with our faith community in various ways.

I am a former executive in both investment banking and healthcare, with over 25 years’ experience leading teams and growing organizations.  I am a Senior Certified Professional of Human Resources (SHRM and HRCI) and hold an HR certification from Cornell University.  I earned my bachelor’s degree in management from Hodges University and a master’s in organizational leadership from Jacksonville University.  I felt called to join the diocese and serve at St. Theresa’s.  It is a privilege and a blessing to be here.
