Mike Sylvester has been with the St Theresa’s Thrift store since 2013, 5 years as manager. Mike believes that the hard work that the volunteers do to sort, inspect and sell donations to support our Social Services Ministry is an intricate part of achieving our Mission statement.  Mike also believes that the day-to-day operation of the Thrift provides the building blocks to establish a relationship with our local community through communication and compassion.

Mike left the National Park service to join our team in 2012.  Mike has published a book and several short stories and has a passion for photography.  Mike spent several years as a professional eater with the MLE (Major League Eating) association where he set the world record in the Guinness Book of World Records for eating ice cream.
